Nevada has 10 Scenic Byways including the Las Vegas Strip, the nations only nighttime scenic byway.

If you're not ready to travel around the state, there are many other activities such as hiking, biking, skiing/snowboarding or visiting state parks. Nevada has a huge variety of places to hike since it is one of the least populated states and about 85 percent of it is public land. There are many well-worn hiking trails in the popular areas such as Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston and there are also many trails that aren't well known and aren't traveled as much.

Nevada offers a wide variety of biking trails including The Rim Trail which takes you along Lake Tahoe or cruise through Tonopah Mining Park and Museum. Trails range from moderate to very difficult including some paved trails. If you're a skiier/snowboarder, than you'll love the Reno-Lake Tahoe region. There are about 15 amazing ski resorts, all within an hour from the Reno-Lake Tahoe region and all offering a wide range of terrain to suit anyone's skill and style.

Nevada also has about 24 state parks like the Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park, home to the most abundant concentration and largest known Ichthyosaur fossils in North America or Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park which offers a wide variety of activities like skiing and boating. No matter what you're looking to do on your vacation, you're sure to find it in Nevada.
